It is 2 AM. The caffeine has kicked in and your heart is now racing faster than the Energizer Bunny on speed. The blank screen on your computer reflects your life, current state of emotion and the grade you will receive at 10 o'clock this same morning. Words flood your mind at an unrestrained pace, yet they elude any common sentence structure. You're fully aware that a ten page report on common usage for the term "f**k" isn't going to impress the professor, but what can you do? You no longer comprehend anything else.
It is now 4 AM. You have written a long rambling soliloquy bemoaning your current sex life but still nothing you can pass to the instructor. You've now concluded that you will never be a writer, will never have anything of value to contribute and drinks with high caffeine levels should be banned. You would write about the proposed ban, but the computer screen begins a bizarre dance of strange colors. Besides, you reason, if you did succeed in getting the caffeine banned, you'd have one hell of a time obtaining it illegally for the next all night writing binge.
By the time you leave for class you're in a mental fog. You have printed a paper out to hand in but have absolutely no clue as to its contents. There's no time to read it over so you hope your professor appreciates the finer points of its contents. Surely, you reason, anyone can appreciate the effects that occur when caffeine meets emo.
